Multiplexing and Networking, Volume 2

The ever increasing electronics content of modern vehicles, and the resulting complexity of controls and systems, has been accompanied by a comparable increasing need for multiplexing and networking. Additional networks have also increased the need for greater conformance testing of those networks and a greater number of gateways among them.

This book contains 63 papers covering six years of research from 2000-2005 on multiplexing and networking trends and technology. Following an introduction, Multiplexing and Networking on the Rise, by editor Ronald K. Jurgen, papers are organized in five categories:

  • Multiplexing and Networking Systems
  • Protocols
  • Gateways and Middleware
  • Network/Protocol Testing
  • Viewpoints on Future Trends
