David Roy Rogers

David R. Rogers started with a technical career in the retain motor industry, moving into a Research and Development environment, first as a Technician and then Engineer. Following this, a career in Technical Sales and Business Management for Automotive Powertrain Instrumentation and Test systems, allowed the author to develop a detailed, practical knowledge base, on combustion pressure measurement from a user perspective and application viewpoint. Much of this knowledge gained via "hands on" interaction with users of the equipment in real life applications. Professionally, the author is a Member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and the Society of Automotive Engineers. He is also currently a member of the Board, of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers Automobile Division.
