Arthur Ginsburg

Arthur P. Ginsburg, Ph.D., as founder and Director of the Aviation Vision Laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Vistech Consultants Inc. and currently as Director of Vision Sciences Research Corp., has worked extensively with pilots, astronauts and drivers under real and simulated visibility conditions to measure and demonstrate the effects of functional vision losses. Holding nine technology patents, Dr. Ginsburg has developed a filter model of vision, the VCTS and FACT contrast sensitivity clinical test systems, the MCT contrast and glare view-in vision tester, simulated night driving systems and the EyeViewTM visual analysis software product. Dr. Ginsburg provides expert witness services for visibility related air, auto and personal accidents for government, public and private agencies and has 60 published scientific book chapters, papers and reports.
